Sipsey Wilderness 1st Annual Hammock Hang (www.hammockforums.net) 4/5/2014
So just recently I upgraded my sleep system from a tent to a Hammock! I purchased a Dream-Hammock Dangerbird and haven't looked back. Super comfortable. This past weekend was the first annual Sipsey Wilderness Hammock Hang. This was also the first nights I've ever spent in a hammock. SO glad I decided to go this route! The hammock is the most comfortable sleep I've ever had in the woods. The guys from Hammockforums.net are a great bunch. I hope to meet up with them again soon! We all camped at Wolfpen camp which is just outside of Sisey Wilderness. We had to camp here as parties of more than 10 are prohibited inside the wilderness. However, the wilderness was just across the road. We did some day hikes that Saturday. Hammock hangs are definitely a great place to meet some really cool backpackers, and check out some really awesome gear. I drove away from the place trying to figure out how to come up with the cash to buy a lot of stuff that I surely can't afford. lol.
